Temple Run: Oz is a spinoff of Temple Run made for the movie Oz the Great and Powerful.
It was released on February 27, 2013 for iOS, to coincide with the release of the film on August 28, 2013, Temple Run: Oz was released for Windows Phone 8.
The player assumes the role of Oz, as he attempts to outrun the shrieking baboons trying to seize him, similar to every other mainline Temple Run game.

The game introduces many new things, powerup shuffle, all-new utilities, map travel and balloons.
As you run, you may see signs that say things like (Yellow Brick Road ->) and can turn to these signs to be taken to that location. There are also Whimsy Woods, Emerald City, Winkie Country, and Dark Forest as other maps.
You may notice the powerups rapidly cycle between each of the powerups, and will grant a powerup shown when hit: you can also time your jump to get a specific power.
Four characters are included: three skins for Oz and China Girl was also introduced. Wallpapers also make a return.
You can also notice hot air balloons floating in the background. Follow them, and ride them while still avoiding obstacles.

The Game was sadly removed from both App Store and Google Play on October 31 2017. You can still download the game by APK.
